Submission: Review of use of legal professional privilege in Commonwealth investigations

Transparency International Australia is pleased to provide the following submission to this review on the use of legal professional privilege in Commonwealth Investigations. We focus our submission on legal professional privilege as it relates to anti-corruption compliance, particularly anti-money laundering.

We endorse the submission of Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania and provide some comments based on our own previous submissions to the recent AML/CTF updates.
