With these measures, the paper argues that Australia and Pacific Island nations can together deliver a pre-COP that enhances the legitimacy of the process, delivers meaningful climate action that Pacific survival demands, and leaves a lasting global legacy.

In partnership with Transparency Solomon Islands, Transparency International New Zealand, Transparency Vanuatu and Transparency and Integrity Fiji, Strengthening Integrity to Safeguard Pacific Futures calls on Australia and Pacific Island governments to meet this moment with the leadership it demands.
