TI Australia welcomes new CEO

Transparency International Australia this week welcomes our new CEO, Clancy Moore.

Clancy comes to TI Australia after heading Publish What You Pay Australia, the Australian arm of a global anti-corruption coalition calling for transparency in the oil, gas and mining sectors.

He brings to TIA over 15 years of experience working on human rights, business integrity, and public accountability including leadership roles at Oxfam, Action Aid and UNICEF.

‘Corruption impacts of all us. Left unchecked it harms our democracy, our communities and our environment.’

‘I am excited to join TI Australia, which speaks truth to power and advocates for a world of free from corruption.’

‘I have spent over 15 years defending human rights and social justice, in Australia, the Solomon Islands and Myanmar, so I know how much we can solve through greater accountability and democratic participation.

‘I look forward to continuing to promote a more transparent and accountable mining sector through the great work that TI Australia is doing; as well as working with the new federal government to establish a strong national anti-corruption commission; and better laws to strengthen financial transparency in the corporate sector.

‘TI Australia has an ambitious and exciting agenda, and I look forward to helping it achieve results on this important work.’
