Australian Wheat Board (AWB) and the Oil-For-Food Program in Iraq

Jurgen Kurtz, an international law specialist at Melbourne University, examines and dismisses the dual arguments that Australia had no obligation to supervise the conduct of AWB participating in the ‘Oil-For-Food’ program in Iraq and that Australia has done everything possible to meet its obligations under international law to combat bribery of foreign public officials.
